Death and Pumpkins
Sad news awaited me when I returned to my apartment following a weekend Sabbatical up in P-ville, where I was lovingly nursed back to health by Kit and my mommy; turns out that the strange smell in the kitchen was actually partially due to the fact that George had died on the counter. I feel so bad. Poor George. The "soft spots" that I had turned towards the wall earlier in the week became infected and his flesh rotted away which released a putrid odor which was mistakenly thought to be part of the perpetual River Oaks stench. It's safe to say that although George only lived with us for a few weeks, he will be missed turribly. It seems that all my pets die when I leave them alone in my apartment, Edmond suffered the same fate when he died of poisoned water back in 2003. I inspected Prudence this morning but she seems fit and sound without any visible soft parts or problems, a few minor scuffs but they seemed to have mended nicely and they were there before I got her. ANYWAY.

So sorry to hear about George's cancer and death... will we be having a funeral and burial for him?
I would love to be able to say that we were having a funeral for him... I was thinking of the poolside grill, however because of the smell he was unceremoniously wrapped up and thrown into the dumpster... Poor Georgie P.
