ice water

This morning there was no hot water in the house; I realized this after 5 minutes or so of jumping back and forth out of the stream of water. At first my thoughts were mainly on who had played this horrible trick on me, guilty conscience speaking since I turned the water heater off on Lisa yesterday but then I just decided to appreciate it since I was now COMPLETELY awake for the second time this morning. i don't think I can say that I'm squeaky clean but that's what the gym shower is for. The first time I woke this morning was at 5:15 when my body insisted that it no longer wanted to carry around the bottle of water I drank before I went to bed. However mind over matter prevailed and I was able to drift back into a slightly uncomfortable sleep before it was time to fight with my alarm clock from 5:45 - 6:20 and FINALLY drag myself out of bed into an ice bath.

After that whole explanation the main point is, I'M SLEEPY AGAIN and I really want some kind soul to bring me some Joe's coffee. A couple shots of espresso with 1/2 and 1/2 or a soy latte with extra espresso. No one is making coffee this morning and I don't really want KRUPS anyway. SNIFFFFFF. Someone. Un caffe?

btw: still cold and wet. If our showers aren't fixed, I'm taking one in the gym after work. And then I'm going to sit in the sauna. FOREVER.

Evidentally the pilot light went out on the hot water heater and my cold shower SAVED my entire family from a flame-engulfed death. O the sacrifice! Besides, everyone liked my hair today and said it was super-cute, I would have probally tried a little harder and been less cute had my shower been warm.

oh my! a freezing cold shower in the morning and sitting in the freezer all day at work... you poor poor dear. uhm, all this talk about cold and water is making me want to pee. So taking a cold shower and staying in an icebox-of-an-office doesn't really wake someone up? Hmmm go figure.

O if only I had been around... A nice cup of Joes Coffee would have been at your desk, or better yet, waiting for you to escape out of your freezer to devour it.
